For the Digital Products Department of our Tübingen location, we are looking for a
Business Lead Digital Products (m/f/d)
Your Responsibilities
- You shape the strategic development and commercial direction of our digital product portfolio (mobile apps for iOS and Android and digital web services) across the full lifecycle, from opportunity identification and roadmap definition to market launch and ongoing optimization
- You translate market signals, customer needs, and business opportunities into clear product priorities and actionable requirements, connecting commercial intent with technical execution
- You develop compelling product positioning and customer value propositions, ensuring digital products are commercially relevant, differentiated, and aligned with real market needs
- You build robust business cases for new opportunities and bring them clearly to senior management and governance forums, including at CCO level
- You connect business, technology, data, IT, marketing, and sales — coordinating the HQ Marketing Manager and regional BD/Marketing Managers to ensure coherent execution between global direction and local realities
- You coordinate global product launches and rollouts with regional stakeholders, making sure the path from release to market adoption is deliberate and accountable
- You monitor product performance, adoption, and market feedback, with a sharp eye on what drives — or blocks — meaningful user engagement, and identify strategic actions to deliver sustainable growth
Your Skills
- 5+ years in a comparable senior role — product management, business development, or commercial strategy in a digital or technology-driven environment
- Solid understanding of the commercial and regulatory landscape around data in a highly regulated industry — financial services, aerospace, automotive, or similar
- Proven ability to build business cases and present them clearly to senior, cross-functional stakeholders
- Your data literacy allows you to drive a data team: you know what a meaningful funnel looks like, how to translate business needs into analytical requirements, and you're familiar with tools like Matomo and Power BI
- Comfortable driving alignment across a matrix organization — you know how to bring people with you without relying on formal authority
- Fluent across the business-technology interface: equally at ease in a product session and a commercial strategy review
- You communicate with clarity and conviction — whether presenting to a governance board, a customer, or a room full of regional managers, you make complex things land
